I think when we start practicing, we have the feeling that it‘s some kind of static situation -- we just find out 'how things are,' and then everything‘s going to be O.K. But how things are is living, unfolding, changing, manifesting, coming into being, fulfilling themselves and disappearing -- constantly. 'Things as they are' is moment by moment by moment.
